Words and Phrases I Wish Were Used More Commonly

I recently downloaded the Urban Dictionary app for my phone, and while I find the actual definitions of the words suspect, there were a few funny ones that I wish actually were real. Definitions are paraphrased.

Axehole – someone that overuses Axe body spray

Diabeating your kids – feeding a kid unhealthily to the point that it can or has caused juvenile-onset diabetes

Dictionary inception – when a dictionary uses the root or other form of a word in the definition

No collar – the new, exponentially-increasing class of people in America that are often over-qualified and unemployed

Slacktivist (also armchair activist) – one who spreads awareness of an issue via social media without actually making any actual contribution to the cause
